Our History
Daniels Wingerak Engineering Ltd. and its predecessor, Daniels Engineering Ltd., have been providing mechanical consulting services since 1980. The firm was founded by John Daniels, P.Eng., and David Colquhoun, both of whom were well known in the Saskatchewan construction industry, having practiced since the 1960s. With these decades of experience, clients can be confident they are hiring qualified professionals who will get the job done right.
Our work principles includes the following key components:
- Staying up to date on the latest developments in mechanical components, equipment, and systems, and integrating these innovations with proven methods to achieve optimal mechanical solutions.
- Evaluating and incorporating energy efficiency measures wherever practical and economically feasible.
- Considering building size and use, capital and operating costs, architectural requirements, and the construction budget before beginning the design.
- Designing mechanical systems with long term service and maintenance in mind, including providing adequate service clearances for routine maintenance and repairs to reduce operating costs and extend the life of both the mechanical systems and the building.
- Working closely with other members of the design team to deliver an integrated, energy efficient design.
